This unit tals about teaching productive sills ( speaing and writing ) .I have learnt that people communicate with eachother because they want to say something , they want to listen to something etc , thus speaking requires a greater degree of fluency while speaking require accuracy. Accuracy activities (is usually part of the study phase) are concentrated on producing correct language while Fluency activities (usually part of the activate phase)concentrate on allowing the students to experiment and be creative with language .Also , speaing activities in the classroom like controlled activities( drilling,prompting),guided activities (accuracy)( model dialogue,guided role-play). Creative communication is fluency activities (free role-play,discussion,Debates etc).I also learnt student swho are reluctant to speak the classroom can be encourage through : pair work, groupwork,changing the classroom dynamics etc .
