In this unit we saw various ways of testing and measuring progress in our students. It's interesting to note that we can not only take into account the progress within our class, but must also think about external and standardized tests with which we may need to familiarize our students. Continuous feedback and fun ways of gauging the language level, and what students have retained up to that point, will be very effective, I believe. But, students must also get a feel for what more structured standardized tests are like, so that they can take them confidently, and be well prepared when they have to, or want to take them.
