This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was very helpful and eye opening. It has been a long time since I studied up on past tense usage and I had forgotten most of the rules and information. I can now see all four types of the past tense usage in my day to day. The past simple seems to be the most common method which is easy for English language beginners to understand. The past continuous is helpful for when there was an interruption. The past perfect was a bit confusing at first so I was happy to see there were a lot more examples and teaching ideas for the activate stage. Finally, the present perfect continuous is useful as well, even though it isn't that common. I look forward to teaching my kids this information.
