It?s helpful to think about mistakes and errors as not being the same. A mistake is not necessarily a big deal. We all make mistakes when speaking or writing - even native English speakers. An error, however, is more important to correct, because they probably won?t resolve themselves. I also thought that the multiple methods of teaching English were interesting. Do most teachers actually know what method they?re using when they teach? My Chinese teacher does a great job of varying lesson content, but I wonder whether she is following a certain method or whether she is just teaching in a way that makes sense.
