Over the years as a special education aide and lacrosse coach, I have grown to be more flexible with my lessons and practices, and have learned to reflect immediately after either of them to ensure student/player growth. Currently, I know my biggest weakness is timing. Often times I find myself - not until after - that I spend too much time on one activity. There are a lot of variables, some I don't have control over, which affects the amount of time spent on activities. Sometimes the activity or drill isn't entirely appropriate, which means I'll adjust it so there is success. Other instances, I'll be spending time working with behaviors. One of the most important things I've taken away from this unit is allowing sufficient time, for myself, to plan lessons with appropriate lessons and activities.
