In unit 8 we take an in-depth look at the future tenses used in the English language. We learned that four of the future tenses are nearly identical in form to their counterparts in the past and present categories. We met a new form in this tense \"be going to\" as it is called and how to build it, use it, and teach it. We also learned that Present Simple and Present Continuous can also be used as verb forms with futuristic implications. Perhaps the most elaborate unit so far Unit 8 makes clear how difficult teaching the English language may sometimes be and how important it is that the teacher has a very solid understanding of the material they are teaching.
