This unit involved watching two videos of two different demo lessons, the first of which was an example of what not to do in the classroom and the second one of what a better lesson for the same topic would look like. I appreciated that the order of the lessons was the poorer lesson before the stronger lesson so as to allow me to analyze and think first of how I would have done the class to improve it since the students were not really engaged. Then, to see a better lesson performed helped me to see if my thinking was similar to what was presented and to further evaluate what goes into a good lesson for students.
