This unit compared and contrasted 2 examples of the same lesson being taught in different ways. The first lesson had a teacher who was not as engaged with his students and his students responded by being less engaged with the lesson. In the second lesson, the teacher was more engaged with his students, learning their names and encouraging their participation, which lead to a better interaction throughout the lesson.
I learned that I need to be prepared, smile, and be engaged to help the students become more engaged.This unit is useful in that it explores and describes the organization of the educational process during English language lessons. It contains information about organization, assignments, submission instructions, monitoring the activity of students in the class. On the causes of discipline problems of students and given useful tips that will help to prevent them. In this unit, I know better how to allocate time and how much must be allowed to speak to pupils during lessons, to teacher and build rapport with students.
