I learned alot in this section about the difference in fluency and accuracy. When teaching for fluency or accuracy, you should not cross the two over too much. If it is a fluency activity it is more important to let the students speak and be creative than controlling their every move and stopping them at each mistake. Likewise, the teacher should control student output more in accuracy activities and make sure to correct mistakes so that students do not incorrectly learn new vocabulary or grammar points.Overall this section briefly discussed the use of lesson materials. It overviewed the use of course books and both the advantages and disadvantages that should be analyzed by a teacher when establishing which course book to use and how to use it. Additionally, the unit discussed the use of lesson materials and created materials, again, the advantages and disadvantages of such items' use within a classroom. This lesson was brief but necessarily and gives concrete advice when assessing course materials.
