We looked at different problems or situations that may arise in the classroom. We received suggestions that could be helpful to the teacher under these circumstances. I especially enjoyed the warmer ideas given to get the class communicating at the beginning of the lesson. The idea to only speak English and not using the native language was repeated in this unit. I think it's a very important point if we want our students to improve their English skills.The contents of this lesson focus on the different parts of speech of the English language. It is incredibly helpful because as a native English speaker, so many rules of grammar become natural and automatic. This leads to the problem of not being able to explain to a student exactly why their answers are incorrect. The lesson also highlighted the exceptions to the rules. I feel more confident and more aware of how to explain parts of speech effectively.
