another useful skill are productive skills: speaking and writing. the accuracy and fluency speaking activities are both important. accuracy activities will check that the students can understand and use the language is a controlled way before being expected to try to use it in a fluency activity. speaking activity should be controlled by the teacher: drilling, guided activities, creative communication. student can seem reluctant to speak because of lack of confidence, fear of making mistakes and others.
there are some technics to encourage interactions:
- pair work;
- groupe work;
- plenty of controlled and guided practice before activities;
- carefull planing .
written text has quite a number of differences which separates it from speaking. handwriting tends to be personal. incorrect spelling can create misunderstandings and lack of education. incorrect usage layout and punctuation can lead to rather awkward and difficult looking pieces of writing. typical creative writing tasks may included poetry, stories and plays.
