In this Unit, there is detailed information about Conditionals and Reported Speech. Starting with Conditionals, these are sentences that contain the 'if' word or if clause with another part of the sentence being the action or outcome of the condition. There are five different conditionals explained in this unit and each of these conditionals carries a unique meaning and way of usage in English Grammar. Reported Speech is the other term explained in detail in this Unit. Reported speech comes from reporting something that has been in the past. For example you can report a statement that someone said or an action that someone did. In cases where the statement reported is a question, the form of the verb in the question changes into positive form. For example when coming is used in direct speech, going is used in the indirect speech. It is also worth noting that there are no quotation marks used in indirect speech since you don't quote what someone said but you report it.
