First classes definitely are very important. They set the tone for the whole year. I had a really rowdy class of grade 1 and 2 kids, who never behaved. It was a long and difficult year. I was not firm enough. The following year I was a tyrant for the first few lessons. I realized how strict I was and decided to relax, and to my surprise the kids were angels from then on. That became one of my favorite classes. From worst to best in the space of a month.This unit is centered on past tenses. There are listed the 4 types of past tenses such as past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous tenses. Each of these tenses is listed mentioned with its standard form, the regular verbs, in negative, affirmative and questioning form, and also the irregular verbs. Furthermore, for each form are explained the rules for when to use these forms, with an example to make it more comprehensive.
