This unit dealt nicely with a fundamental teaching requirement: instruction must focus on ensuring that all activities and tasks set for students are meaningful and interactive. If teachers can attain this, then developing good rapport, mutual respect and success all follow naturally. I grew up in a country where discipline and punishment were harsh and demeaning. Discipline is essential but there?s no need for a heavy approach and I think the suggestions proposed in this unit would work well.This unit deals with conditionals and reported speech. Zero conditionals are action that are factual and cannot be changed. The fist conditional refers to actions that will happen in the future if one condition is satisfied. The second conditional is an unreal hypothetical situation. The third conditional is an hypothetical past action and results. The mixed conditional is a combination of the second and third. This unit also shows that in a reported speech the tense of the verb tends to change.
