This unit covered the five main conditionals(zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and the mixed conditional). These conditionals are very similar to the verb tenses because its own forms and usages. Like the verb tenses, the form of each conditionals dictates how each conditionals are used in the sentence.
In this unit, we also learned about how to appropriately form a reported speech from a direct speech.This unit was rather long in terms of the information that I had to learn. I did however learn about the different methodologies and when to apply them. Although I speak a different at home i.e. Xhosa(an indigenous African language)my English is far better, mainly due to my schooling and if I have trouble learning something I always use the Grammar or translation technique where I translate something in my home language to English or vice-verse.
