This unit was helpful because it has given me more ideas about how I will conduct my classroom. I definitely think when I begin I will stick more with the textbook until I get the hang of things, but after a little bit I want to start supplementing more and more relevant material with something more fitting to my students. I also am pleased to have to think about how a boomerang lesson plan would work, because it gets me practicing my lesson planning skills.In this unit the modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice were examined in detail but only a brief overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses. Only the essential basic grammar were covered and not the whole grammatical system. Modals can be used to express different ideas, passive voice has got two voices used in English, relative clause is a group of words containing a subject and a verb and phrasal verbs consist of a verb plus one or two particles.
