The present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous forms were covered in this unit. I appreciated the sample activities for each of the tenses and the simple yet straight forward presentation of these tenses. I continue to be astounded at the ability of these grammar units to describe in a simple sentence or two what I would find difficult to even talk about. It reminds me of thinking about your thinking, described to me once as the practice of metacognition. I notice a logic to the words from these units on grammar that, in teaching grammar, I would find difficult to explain. The difficulty reminds me of what is often described as an error when defining a word: don't use the word you are defining in your definition. I would be tempted to grammatically employ that error in judgment. I know grammar adequately. Talking about grammar, on the other hand, I am coming to consider it an art.
