There are many theories, methods and techniques that can be used when teaching language however not all are effective forms. ESA has proven to be an effective method of teaching which involves a process of Engage, Study and Activate. During this process students have high exposure to language, receive input from the teacher, are exposed to real learning communicative tasks, participate in effective learning activities that reduce stress and anxiety and students are encouraged to discover language for themselves.I am well pleased with this unit. Videos and demonstrative pictures definitely help understand and put into perspective. The teacher's attitude definitely has a strong influence on how the students will respond and how they absorb information. To see this in action was definitely and eye opener and it is very clear that preparation and attitude will have the longest lasting effects on the students. Negative attitude will bring negative feedback and intimidation, while positive attitude will bring fourth results.
