This unit gave me - a person wihtout teaching experience - a great overview of methods and techniques I will be able to use to best teach my future students. I was worried about making an effective lesson plan at the end of this course, but this unit simplifies that task. It's enough to pick a suitable method and follow the guidlines. I also liked that there were exercise examples shown which can be a good source to create teacher's own exercises as and when needed.How to provide the student with new vocabulary is something I have always wondered, I am satisfied to know that it was not as hard as i thought. There is much to consider such as the usage, the meaning and the forms and patterns; however, that is something that i already knew. The ESA style of teaching also was something i had considered before, bring pictures to elicit the students, enforce their new knowledge with paper practice and have them use it in a dialogue.
