Past tense forms are very similar to present tense forms and their usages. This unit gave several ways we can do different activities during the activation stage to showcase the differences between tenses. When working with the different tenses I can see how students could easily confuse one tense for another especially with irregular verbs. Therefore, it is important to do different activities to help them determine which tense would be appropriate in each sentence/scenario.This unit gives an opportunity to observe a real english lesson in the classroom. There are given two contrasting lessons which help to understand the basic differences between successful and unsuccessful lessons. And also how teacher`s attitude might influence on study process and student`s desire to participate in the lesson. The second lesson depicts a good example of appropriate teacher`s behaviour in the classroom. I learnt how to put theoretical materials into practice.
