In this unit, I have learned to deal with common problems that can happen in a class. I've learned that I can pair stronger and weaker students to teach a class with varying levels. I have also learned that I can assign a leader to each group in a large class to make things easier. I learned that I should make sure all the students understand my instructions so that students wouldn't need to use their native tongue. Furthermore, to help students that are more reluctant, I learned that I can use controlled practice before expecting them to produce English fluently.Adding to my knowledge, this unit was very beneficial as usual as it taught me the basic principles of a lesson plan, what is the importance of a lesson plan and how to be organized before the start of the class. Moreover, it introduced a format for the lesson plan and what are the points to be included in it. I also liked the self-evaluation form and how it's done to develop my teaching skills and experience in terms of weaknesses and strengths.Finally, the task 2 materials regarding the present perfect questionnaire and possibilities was amazing and mind refreshing!
