This unit was based around the teachers and learners. I was able to gain a good understanding of the different roles a teacher can play in the classroom and how each role can impact the way a student learns. I didn't realise that there were so many different ways I would be able to teach a class so it was great to learn how I can act in a number of different ways to try gain different results. As for the learners it was good to know what qualities make up a good learner and how important it is that students have a willingness to actually learn english. I also found the breakdown of young learners particularly helpful because I now know that each age range will need different types of lessons in order to be effective. Overall this section has given me a good insight to how teachers and learners influence the classroom and the different roles both can have.
