This unit is very helpful in showing the different reasons and methods of testing students. It is Important to know and note that the students are tested at the beginning to know where they should start. Then tested during to see how the teacher and the student are doing, and tested at ending stages to see how what is retained and what can be built on. It was also very helpful to get familiar with the several different language exams and places they are popular.Unit 18 consisted of detailed information about modals, phrases and the usage of passive voice. The different types of phrasal verbs were unknown to me before this unit. I learned how to create passive from active voice, which i found easy to do. I also learned to express formal and/or polite requests. The English grammar consists of many tiny but important details. I agree with the sentence that one would need at least 4 years to cover the whole English grammar.
