Studying this unit was really helpful, I did not realise how many different parts of speech there actually were and where they go. For instance Nouns, I thought a noun is a name/place, but now I see there are different nouns such as common, proper, compound, abstract and collective. You learn this at school but of course over the years you forget, now that I`m doing this course I can see the difference in parts of speech where before I did not really think about it. I enjoyed learning about Articles and Gerunds, because I have not heard of it before this course, I can truly say that studying parts of speech, I will never forget the meaning of Articles and Gerunds. It was also interesting learning that verbs are either transitive or intransitive. From now on I will be thinking about the way I speak and where the different parts of speech go.
