I have learned quite a bit about classroom management, things that I have considered to not be important but it turns out they are. I looked at the seating arrangements and were often comparing them to my experience as a student in university. I have experienced all of them and with me being a shy student, I prefer the traditional seating arrangement with the teacher dominating the classroom. That is not very effective for students who are trying to learn another language so when I become a teacher, I would like to have the horseshoe arrangement with more student talk time. The more they are using the language, the better it would be for me to see their process and so I don't have to talk too much. The discipline part will be difficult for me the first few times but, I know I will be able to get better at it once I gain more experience.
