This unit covered the future tenses. Future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, \"going to\" future, present simple with future meaning, and present continuous with future meaning were the tenses covered. The forms, usages, examples, common mistakes, and Activate stage teaching ideas were all given for each tense. In this unit, I learned the different future tenses, and I was able to review the ones I was familiar with, while learning the ones I was not familiar with or that I never considered to be a future tense. I learned the differences between the usages of the tenses and how to better explain them to students. The Activate teaching ideas were helpful, as they will elicit example sentences from the students, while hopefully illustrating the forms and usages of the particular tense being taught.
