The unit focuses on the relationship between the teachers and students. I have learned many concepts and ideas in this unit. A teacher-student relationship is very important in establishing a good result learning the English language. A teacher's personality also affects a student's learning. Therefore, a teacher should possess certain qualities to make him or her an effective one and to make learning an enjoyable one. I also learned that students are different in many ways, and teachers have to consider different factors which could affect their learning. We have to consider their levels and how they view themselves and their learnings. We need to act differently and change our roles according to their needs and so as to meet these needs. Therefore, an effective teacher can transform students into lifelong learners of the language.
