This unit has discussed the various materials used in an EFL classroom lesson and also explained how they should be used. It looked at the different ways these materials could be gotten. I learnt from it that authentic material is relatively motivating to both students and teachers because is less predictable. Lesson plans are of absolute importance as it can create a record of what has been taught, moreover allows another teacher to teach in case current teach has an emergency. I learnt the most suitable method for teaching young learners (especially 5-9yrs) which is the EP (engage practice) method. Course book can be adapted to suit current student because course books are usually for all nationalities. I got informed about internet as one of the sources to get material and also some technique to deal with discipline issues.
