This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit I've learned about Conditionals and Reported Speech. There are 5 types of Conditionals: zero, first, second, third and mixed. Zero conditional is used to talk about facts. First conditional is used for the real life circumstances. Second conditional is used to talk about dreams and unreal ideas or wishes. Third conditional is used to express regrets about past actions. Mixed conditionals are used to express unreal past with probable result in present.
Reported Speech is used to retell some information heard from somebody. There are rules that always must be used while reporting: Present Simple becomes Past Simple, Past Simple and Present Perfect become Past Perfect, Present Continuous becomes Past Continuous, Past Continious and Present Perfect Continuous become Past Perfect Continuous, Will becomes would, can-could. Also while reporting students have to be patient about pronouns and time expressions to report exactly what was said.
