This lesson goes into further detail about different aspects of a language that students must learn, and how they can be best taught through the different components of an ESA teaching style. Choosing vocabulary has always seemed a difficult task for language teachers. In my Chinese classes, students would often become disgruntled if the new vocabulary we were learning did not seem the most useful or applicable to our language level. This lesson provided some tips for selecting the most appropriate vocabulary, and was also helpful in understanding the differences between teaching different aspects of a language and which activities would be most appropriate to each.
