This unit was very useful. There were several examples of how to engage the students and allow them speak with accuracy and fluency. I highly enjoyed the \"3 by 3\" format. It made me realize students can feel comfortable in a group and also hear the accurate way several more times. There may be sensitive issues as to why students may not want to interact with others. As a teacher, I should identify any culturally sensitive issues and be aware of them and have a plan to make the class a comfortable environment for everyone to learn.I learned writing is just as important as speaking. Writing can encourage students to share their thoughts and ideas on paper and read them out once they have put more thought into it. Students should be encouraged to write with interest to produce their best work and be proud.
