This unit described the various methodologies that have been invented for teaching TEFL courses. It demonstrated a preference for the \"Engage - Study - Activate\" system and its related forms. It gave a theoretical framework and set of recommendations for conducting TEFL lessons. I found it very useful because it made me reconsider my methods for past lessons in my previous teaching experience. I was very appreciative of the lists of viable activities and exercises for each stage of a TEFL lesson. It made me reconsider my thoughts on correction and feedback. Most of all - it has given me greater motivation for avoiding \"teacher-centered\" lessons. As a result, I hope to do more to engage and activate students from now on.
