This unit discuss the four groups of Present Tense; Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. Each group describes the form, usages and typical errors committed as well as provided teaching ideas with examples. This unit confirms the thoughts of many non-English speakers that English is not an easy language to learn. I am able to speak and understand the language but i find it difficult to explain why one should use this verb and not that verb, why it should be constructed this way and not that way. Coming up with activities is most difficult as i have to think of the (correct) possible outcome from the students to say that the activity i have in mind is applicable for this group or the other. I still get it mixed up which in the end confuses me.
