Grammar learning is critical for ESL learners .A shortage of grammar knowledge would always lead to a dissatisfactory result -- learners may find themselves reaching a plateau without making remarkable progress. Grammar provides learners with basic rules and principles that direct learners' language organization accordingly. Upon this foundation learners can eventually put what they have learnt in fruitful practice.
This unit introduces the four types of present tenses,which are very fundamental and easy to digest. I find myself reflect to those reference given by the end of the unit. They provided me with a great deal of background information which will definitely become useful in my future classroom practice.
