In this video Unit I have learned that the attitude of the teacher makes a huge difference in the outcome of the class. If the teacher lacks ambition, talks fast and unclear, rushes the students and lacks attention during activities the students will be confused, less interested in interacting and lacking focus. A teacher that shows patience and pizazz during the lesson draws the students in. The students can then absorb the information and can enjoy learning. The teacher during the second video spoke more clearly, slower and using a lower level of English, avoiding a feeling of frustration amongst the students. I have also learned, as teachers build rapport with their students, the students feel more comfortable volunteering to participate in the activities, which can show the teacher their level of understanding.
