It is important to realize how important the interactions between the teacher and students are carried out. A student?s only exposure to native English might only be their teacher. The teacher should try to understand this fact and wisely utilize their time. Methodology plays a major role when conducting a lesson. It is important to follow the ESA approach, starting with a warmer and ending with creativity. Each element has its unique goal and activity type. There are different ESA methods that can be adapted into the teacher?s curriculum according to their goals. The only rule that should be followed is to begin with an Engage stage and end with an Activate stage. In addition, a teacher must realize the appropriate timing for corrections. A teacher should not overly correct students, for this might distress a student. Meanwhile, too little corrections will result in error repetition and continuous confusions. Students should be able to recognize their errors with their teacher?s guidance. A teacher should give the student a chance to realize their mistakes before involvement.
