This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit described four different tenses of verbs in the present form, after briefly introducing the 12 English language tenses (simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous forms of the past, present and future). The four present tenses - present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous - were described in the context of their forms and common usages, and for each one, common student errors/mistakes were presented as well as sample Activate exercises for each tense. The unit provided a useful introduction to methods of teaching these tenses, highlighting what the typical challenges are for learners and providing a structural approach to the teaching of them (reinforced by the video).
