The difference between the first and second lesson was drastic. It was clear to see that the second lesson was significantly more effective and positive. There were many critiques that were clearly noticeable on the first lesson plan. The students were not involved and seemed very intimidated. The first lesson also didn't have any relationship between the teacher and students, and the teacher seemed agitated and discouraging. The second lesson had a clear effect on the students. The teachers attitude played a tremendous role in engaging the students and encouraging them to speak out and get involved. The engage phase was very necessary in the second lesson and set the class up for success because it broke the ice for everyone to feel comfortable. This unit was a great example of what to do and not to do during a lesson plan.
