This unit focuses on teaching productive skills, meaning that we now focus on speaking and writing. The teaching of both these skills is a bit harder than the previous' unit. To be successful in his endeavour we must encourage, in teaching spoken skills, the students to lose their inhibitions, and to that end we need to focus on the students' interests. As for the writing skills, this is even harder, if for example, the students have a different alphabet, writing style or format, and the like. What is interesting, is that games are even more encouraged at this stage to be able to bring out the students' potential while keeping things light and fun. The use of punctuation is another tough spot, as we learn that even punctuation can be based on an individual's style of writing.
