This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit has efficiently covered the future tenses and has further increased my confidence in teaching these tricky subjects. the similarities between the forms of the present, past, and future tenses offers a great foundation of understanding and makes the differences between them less daunting. While studying the future tenses, I was pleased with how often I was able to recall a teaching tip from a previous lesson to help me to remember this information better. The prospect of teaching the tenses seems like the most daunting part of teaching a new language, but this unit has helped me to be more excited about it and I've even come up with a few new teaching tricks that I'd like to use. The future tenses have the same simple, perfect, continuous, and perfect continuous tenses, but with the addition of the \"Be going + infinitive\" tense. The present simple and the present continuous are also covered again in this chapter with the focus on their future implications. Even with more tenses to study, this unit didn't feel more difficult because the material was explained so well.
