ALTE Association of Language Testers in Europe

The Association of Language Testers in Europe is an association of organizations involved in the assessment and certification of language learners in a variety of languages across Europe. The main purpose of the association is to provide an effective framework that allows employers and employees to compare the levels of language qualifications awarded in different countries. The development of the association and its framework has been largely due to the increase in migration of workers between European countries brought about by the widespread easing of border controls within the region. The association continues to grow and currently represents 27 different languages from all over Europe. Are you ready to live and teach abroad? Click here and get started today:

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

While studying the content of this unit I could learn useful strategies of teaching that I can easily put in practice during English classes. Furthermore, I learnt the basic structures of a lesson and how to vary the different phases of learning, according to the typology of student I will face. This unit focused on past tenses. The grammar units are still a bit difficult but I feel like I'm getting a better idea of how it all comes together with each lesson. For me remembering the structure helps best with the identification but I still need a bit of work to remember all of the usages.I feel like I've learnt the different roles a teacher can have within a classroom. The way you can influence and manage students development. I've learnt the key roles on how to be a good teacher. And what responsibles it takes to be a good teacher. I also learnt how to asses student abilities.
