TESOL Videos - Aloud vs Allowed - English Grammar - Teaching Tips
In this video Linda breaks down the difference between ?aloud? and ?allowed?.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
This unit provides a wealth of information on classroom materials, where to source them and how to use them effectively. I found the website recommendations comprehensive and useful, as I am continually striving to supplement lessons with new and stimulating material related to the lesson theme. The sections of the unit that revised and expanded upon information learnt in the TEFL course, such as classroom management, lesson planning and how to best use authentic and non-authentic material as well as course books, were of particular use to me. I teach a syllabus which relies on course books so the pros and cons section was a reminder to increase student interest in lessons, whilst maintaining structure. The guidelines for classroom management prompted me to research in greater depth in this area, which I find the most challenging when teaching.
