Everyday vs Every Day - English Grammar - Teaching Tips

In this video Linda breaks down the difference between "everyday" and "every day". Due to their spelling, it can be quite hard for non-native English learners to understand the difference between the two. This video explains exactly how to differenciate between both expressions.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

As a teacher you should be more aware and considerate of your student and you should be more observant than focusing on your own benefits as a teacher instead for your student.studying this unit helps me to encourage myself to be more sensitive to my students needs than to myself.I had found this unit very useful. It provides some valuable instructions for creating a syllabus. It also made understand that a successful course depends on the planning that precedes it. It contains a lot of ideas and information that I will definitely explore my self later on.The detail in this unit has helped me to categorise and be able to describe the definitive terms around present tense that I subconsciously use in my day to day life as a native speaker. This will be helpful in my teaching as I was not previously aware of the intricacies involved.
