This unit was helpful in that it provided a good over view of the things one must consider while running a class room. It shows how to maintain a balance between teacher input and student participation. It also shows how to maintain mutual respect and discipline that is effective and productive.this is really a motivating unit especially to young teachers. i have learned so much on the qualities of a good teacher as that of a good learner. it true teachers most be creative lively as well being able accompany and encourage not only students learning a language but other fields of study.Unit six is dedicated to the structure and the usages of various forms of the past tenses. As for other grammar units, in this unit along with the explanation of each form of the past tenses, typical student errors/ mistakes are analysed. Then, some teaching ideas for activate stage is provided.
