There are different types of teaching classes. For example, teaching beginners, individuals, children as well as teaching business English or English for specific purposes. Teaching beginners requires special skills and psychology. When teaching beginners, it is important to motivate the students to speak English as much as possible, and not use their mother language even if you know it. Individual lessons have more advantages for the teacher: no mixed levels, usually highly motivated students, can focus more on the student and so developing a close relationship, etc.1-1 lessons are usually less formal and the teacher will often be the partner of the student, helping/prompting/working with him/her. Teaching children can be one of the most rewarding of all student classes to teach. It is important to always use English as the language of instruction. Using their native language can reduce the motivation of the students. Children like to see adults behaving in a silly way therefore the teacher should be prepared to make fun of themselves.Get children to draw and color, play simple games. A lot of teachers have initial fears about teaching \"English business\" worrying they have no experience in the field. However, business knowledge is not so important to teach English language. It is more a case of adapting to a different approach from the one you would use if you were teaching a general English class in the school. The type of language the learners usually need is often in areas such as telephoning, introductions, presentations, etc. It is important to remember that you are not there to teach them business but English.
