Understanding the importance of correction was a real wake up call. It makes me think back to my own education and how my teachers could have done better or in some cases did well. Kids can be so sensitive and the classroom balance is such a flowing thing it's important to keep confidence high.This unit confused me a little, it was more difficult than expected simply due to the way the future tenses were described. However, i found it to be challenging and interesting. I will need to work on my deeper understanding of the future tenses to ensure i know them well enough to teach them.This unit was helpful to me so that I can identify the level of students knowledge and teach them appropriately. It reinforces that ESL students will come in many different stages of knowledge of the English language and that teachers must be mindful of that and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
