This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
As a native english speaker, I don't often put into perspective the literal building blocks it takes to be naturally fluent. A lot of english (or any language, really) is learned by memorization through listened and spoken conversation, and due to that, it's hard to break down and explain to someone how it works. Thanks to this course, though, I believe I have found the tools to break down the language to the best of my ability and educate others with more confidence than I would have without it. I understand that this course just barely scratches the surface of the english language, but it is a great start to what I hope to be an educational journey (for me) and an enlightened, helpful one to those who I am lucky enough to teach. I plan to save every unit, scrap, note and scribble I've made personally, and every note, nudge in the right direction from my fabulous tutor, to be the best that I can be. I'm armed with a creative mind, excited anticipation and some of the best learning experiences I've had in a long time. I guess you can say I'm an educational force to be reckoned with.
