Unit 16 contains very complex and detailed materials about conditionals and reported speech. Both topics are hard to understand for a non-native speaker, so this unit is a very useful tool for future teachers. First it helps to identify the different types of conditionals (zero, first, second, third, mixed). It explains their usages and shows us how and when to use these. It also gives teaching ideas for this specific part of English grammar. Then the unit moves on to talk about reported speech, which is used very often in spoken and written English, therefor it's important for the students to clearly understand how it's formed. The unit gives a clear overview on how to change verb tenses, pronouns, and time expressions according to the circumstances. Then it closes with giving plenty of teaching ideas again.
