This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

The current unit covered the productive skills - speaking and writing. Along with a discussion of the various purposes of these communicative skills, controlled and creative activities were explained as well as techniques for encouraging students to speak with accuracy and fluency. Writing skills, including the basics of handwriting, spelling, punctuation, and layout were also discussed. As in previous units, I learned that the teacher's role in prompting students with engaging material is significant in encouraging both speaking and writing. I appreciated the \"typical\" writing and speaking activities and the inclusion of popular games as a method to teach productive skills.
