This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was about the present tenses, specifically the present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous tenses. While these tenses come naturally to a native speaker, when and how to use each of these present tenses is very difficult for an English learner, especially for those whose native languages may only have one form in the present tense. Through this unit I became more aware of these different tenses and in what situation each is appropriate. The potential errors a learner can make were also useful to make me more aware of the hidden rules in our everyday language.
